I received a sample of this Olive & Aloe Flex Hold Foam Wrap by Africa's Best from BzzAgent and couldn't be happier! My hair loves this stuff, it holds african american hair better than I expected. It doesn't leave the white residue like a lot of other foams. I really love the smell too!

I should start by saying that I did not use the Africa's Best Olive & Alow Flex Hold Foam Wrap as intended. The bottle clearly states that it is best used for twists, wraps, and other styles that are meant to elongate or change the curl pattern. I decided to see how it holds up to a wet loose curl set, as in, no manipulation to my curl pattern. I have to say, it was pleasantly surprised with the set as I did it. I have ""4C"" curls that include tiny spirals, z/s waves and poorly-defined waves throughout my head. I follow the cut-it kinky method of haircare where I usually set my curls wet with a moisturizing get and then top with a hold gel. More recently I have been using The Doux Pop Lock Foaming Glaze that works like a mousse and loving it. I like that mousses dry much faster than gel sets and with a little work can be well defined as well. Most mousse sets do not offer individualizing curl definition and I was not expecting that with the Africa's Best but I have to say that it did pretty well. Africa's Best was able to create curl clumps (not defined coils) that maintained a good length and bounce when dry. With more time, I would have been able to easily create defined finger coils or curls sets. The fragrance is super light while still offering a close up pleasant scent. The slip with the foam was great, allowing me to quickly and easily detangle my natural hair. I think people with bigger, looser curls would absolutely be able to use this to set their natural curls. I think it could be worth the try for my fellow curlies.

My hair is a natural 4b with a bit of 4a texture and I like to use mousse for my twist outs and braid out. Not all mousses are formulated for this, some are for wraps and styling of chemically treated hair- like this product. When I realized that, I tried to use it on my blow dried hair for a ""slick back"" but it did absolutely nothing for my hair. My hair is also low porosity, so it needs time to absorb products. The formulation of the mousse is very very light, it has no weight or any cream. This may work for those with perms and naturally straight hair, but not for naturals.

This foam really makes my mid back length wavy hair pop. The waves are super shiny & soft, but keep their shape super well. It's not stiff at all either.

I like the foam I freshly was my hair and applied foam on and hair stayed in place without being hard or stuck like material . I give it a 👍

I like the consistency of it, it's definitely a good styling product

This left my hair bouncy and soft. I used it to to a twist out and love the results.

This Alevera and olive oil wrap is the best wrap that I've tried in a long time it holes the curls without being stiff, the curls just fall and flo.

I tried this product on my hair after removing my braids. It smells great and definitely added a nice shine to it once complete. I will add it is not for all African American hair types. My daughter's hair is 4c and it just dried it out and did not bring the curls out.

I used this on my nieces hair an it helped to keep her curls looking shiny an healthy. It lasted for about half a day but looked nice still. It also smells great and left her hair feeling soft.

I use this item several times and was very please with all outcomes. It didn't leave my hair with like a film or anything. My hair still had shape after taking my twists apart. I was happy with the product

Great product for hard to hold hair styles. It was easy to use and a little goes a long way. My hair style stayed in its form for hours. No flaking and no caked up product. I recommend this product for natural 4c hair styles.

The wrap foam made by hair hard and flaky, but I gave it to my aunt and she love the product. I think it's a great product for some people's hair, just not mine.

This works really well on my hair. I'm naturally curly and my hair is extremely dry. This helps will frizz, fly always, and help keeps my hair moisturized. It is lightweight and smells great!

I wear my hair in its natural state and it can be difficult to maintain after a couple days. Using the flex hold foam wrap keeps my hair in place without build up!!

This had very little hold and made my hair feel extremely dry.

I have naturally curly hair.. When wet, it's super curly. When it dries, it tends to lose a lot of its coil and sometimes, the ends get straight. I've tried too many products to count. They'll work to keep the curl pattern in but they all either have sticky or flaky issues after they dry or some would make my hair hard like a helmet. Neither of which I'd want my person to try and run his fingers through. When it air dries, my hair is curly AND soft to the touch. If I sit under the dryer, my hair is set so it's a little hard but, once styled or finger combed, it's super soft to the touch. I'm so glad I found this product!

This foam wrap is by far one of the best I've ever tried. I have very curly hair & trying different products to work for me don't always work out in my favor. But this is very different & it holds up to the name for sure. Absolutely amazing. My curls lasted about 4 days longer than when I've used other products. I would definitely buy this product & recommend it to my friends & family.

I haven't used Africa's Best product since I was a kid. Nice to know they still make great products. The foam wrap works like any other foam wrap. It gave me soft curls after taking out my perm rods. I would like to use it again to see how long it would last when it's not so much humidity in the air.

I like the hold on this foam wrap. It does the work of keeping your style in place while not leaving the usual white residue. I recommend it and will be buying to use with my regular hair routine.

Doesn't dry your hair out, provides good hold, non greasy, easy to use, good value for your money and I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

I used this for the first time straighter after washing my hair. My curls are coming in slowly after transitioning from the creamy crack to natural but forgoing a big chop, meaning my hair is curly at the roots and damaged at the ends and this really had my new growth locked in curly before I flat ironed it. I still like flat hair but no creamy crack and I feel as if it really did give me a great hold. Next up im going to try it on my edges

I like that the foam is light and does not leave your hair crunchy while still giving you some hold.

I love that this foam wrap is not too oily/greasy. I use after I wash my hair, which is natural. Then proceed to blow dry. I recently used for finger coils.

This is a product that I look forward to purchasing in the future. I love the smell of it and it is doing the job it says it would. I love the way it holds and I do not get any residue. I always used gels to hold down my hair but this is much better.

Although the product is called flex hold I wasn't expecting the amount of hold it gave. I'm an avid user of this type of foam for my hair, however, this provided more hold than what I am typically used to or looking for. However, the definition it gave my hair was great.

I've been in the market for a product that would provide hold with little to no build up and this is it! The formula is light weight but it gets the job done as far as longevity ! My only qualm is the smell isn't the typical Africa's it's more like a perfume.

This foam gave me great, definition, shine, and bounce that lasted pretty much until wash day with no intervention. The only drawbacks I observed were that it didn't provide a lot of slip, and I felt a serum-like coating. Otherwise, I would use again.

I really loved this product so much and I hope I get to try some more form this brand

I loved the look Olive & Aloe Flex Hold Foam Wrap gave my curls but hair felt dry and left residue. Since weather changed when I received product, I wanted to give a fair number of chances.
