Olive & Shea Deep Conditioner Masque

My natural coils were in need of some TLC. They can be thirsty and I struggle to retain moisture. This masque left my hair feeling so soft and hydrated! The olive & shea masque made detangling a breeze. My hair felt stronger and more manageable after the first use. I'll definitely be adding this gem to my wash day routine!

I have tried similar products with have near identical claims and this one stands out. I love a thick deep conditioner that I can leave in for a while. The consistency was good and my trends felt moisturized after. There is good slip to the conditioner and it also smells pleasant. The container has enough product for a a number of applications so that is also a plus!

It was ok. It did leave my hair soft but it dried quickly I needed to add more Product to my hair

I appreciate that the masque isn't crazy expensive and actually makes my natural hair soft.

With three curly bead in the home I'm always looking for new products to try, I love this mask because it has great ingredients, I have tried it twice and didn't see a huge difference but I did notice my hair was easy to comb right after this mask. I will continue to use it weekly and I'm sure to buy this masque again

I liked this product it made my hair soft manageable and helped eliminate dryness. The smell is soft the conditioner didn't leave my hair feeling really rejuvenated. I recommend this product

the Olive + Shea Deep Conditioning mask was amazing. I needed a masque because I was putting braids in my hair and I need my hair to be super hydrated before the style. This masque helped with my split ends and really defined my curls.

I love this conditioner! I used on both my daughter and myself, and let me say, I LOVE the results! Our hair had much slip using this, so detangling was a breeze. This left both of our hair shiny and super soft!

I received this complimentary to try and review. This deep conditioner was overall pretty good. It's not very thick and can be applied fairly easy and liberally, if needed. There wasn't a heavy scent which is nice. In terms of how it made my hair feel, it was middle of the road for me. My hair felt moisturized but in terms of other deep conditioners, this one fell a bit short. I will definitely still use it as a backup.

I have Locs & all my kids. I like to use conditioner to soften our hair so it doesn't feel dry or crunchy after shampooing. I used this masque and our hair was so soft after. And the results last. It doesn't weigh our Locs down or leave residue & was easy to rinse out.

This was an okay hair masque. I've had others that really left my hair feeling moisturized and more resilient but this didn't really do that. My mom used it and her hair loved it so it could just be mine. My hair also doesn't like protein which this masque has. Would not purchase but will probably finish the jar.

The conditioning masque has a slight smell to it, but nothing overpowering. I used this as directed, and it made my hair soft. My hair has been very dry over the past several months, and this helped to maintain moisture as well. I used a good amount of the product, so I don't know how long one jar would last.

the smell was light but cheap and generic. didn't dry out my hair, but left a residue that i didn't like. the ingredients aren't that good. definitely not a product i would spend money on

This masque was very thick and hard to work through my hair. It smelled alright, but I was not too big of a fan of the scent. It works, but no better than any other deep conditioner I've tried. Doesn't have any slip. I had trouble detangling my curly hair with this, even with a detangling brush.

This Dee conditioner was ok. It was very hydrating. But it also felt like my hair was heavy and limp when done.

Great for type 4 hair. Works better when used with heat left the hair moisturized and easy to detangle. Used with a large wide tooth combination afterwards which shortened the styling time significantly.

I absolutely love how soft my hair feels after using this product. I love the texture and consistency because my hair doesn't like to thick and heavy products. Easy to apply and made my hair easy to detangle. My hair looked amazing with this product and even better after rinsing it out. My hair was so pretty and curls were popping. I would definitely recommend this to anyone but im a curly head so if you are too this is definitely worth a try.

The masque leaves my hair feeling super soft. It definitely not for color treated hair though. Would recommend to others.

In general, I love a good moisturizing hair masque, so I was excited to use the Originals by Africa's Best - Olive & Shea Deep Conditioning Masque. The Originals masque was very hydrating compared to other hair masques I have previously used. I find most are sort of the same in that aspect. They do what they are supposed to do which is leave the hair feeling fuller after washing, like smoother and the follicles don't feel as brittle. The only thing that I did not like was that with the length of my hair and texture (mid-back, thick but straightened hair), it left my hair with a residue after straightening it. I always blow dry and straighten my hair after washing and this left a kind of residue that kind of weighed my hair down a bit and clumped it together, so it didn't move as freely as it normally does. I wasn't too upset by this because i knew that it was not super dry like it is sometimes, but this is a common problem that I have with hair masques. It is very hard to buy a product like this and use it often, as I like my hair to flow freely after styling. I would maybe use this when im just going to skip straightening and do a blow dry only, throw in a bun style. I would suggest people who have completely natural hair to use this or probably curly haired people but not for people who straighten their hair like me, so on that note I would definitely buy this for my daughter as she has super curls that can absorb this type of hydration and come out beautifully.

I've always been a fan of African's Best products, so I was so excited to receive this bundle! It keeps my curls super soft and healthy! I use it on my nieces hair too. We love it.

I tried this deep conditioner for the first time and it's amazing. My hair felt moisturized and clean after using it. I should have been used this product because I use their other products and love them.

I have dry and coarse Afro-Caribbean hair. I find this deep conditioner masque very hydrating and moisturizing. I typically use protein conditioners, but this conditioner convinced me to switch up my routine. I highly doubt this conditioner.
